Unpretentious, unique and unforgettable is how I would sum up Jen + Jeremy’s wedding. They got married on stage at the Art Deco gem that is the Tyneside Cinema, in the heart of Newcastle, followed by a DIY reception at Summerhill Square Bowling Pavilion. Tucked behind the motorbike shops of Westgate Road, in the middle of a Georgian enclave, the bowling pavilion is one of our favourite venues in the north east. It is a DIY wedding dream, with bags of character and space to give couples the freedom to create their wedding, their way. For Jen + Jeremy their way was a massive party for friends and family, with games, live music, personal details, and the BEST handmade table seating plan ever made. Jen + Jeremy spent weeks crafting their entire day, and even got their friends on board to provide cakes for the handmade cake buffet competition (winner still unknown!) and take part in a live music gig to party the night away. I could go-on-and-on (which would be tedious) so I’ll let the photos do the talking instead. Enjoy.
